(read some peer-reviewed articles please). The majority of the population, probably due to their optimism bias, skews the view of themselves rating themselves more intelligent and attractive than the average person. (lol guess what general population you can't all be above average!) Not surprisingly the only people who have a realistic view (not skewed either negative or positive, the realists) of "reality" (current situations etc.) and of themselves are those people who are mild to moderately depressed.
