If you’re a regular reader, you probably know that I held a guest post marathon a few weeks back. I offered to write a guest post for anyone who asked, on any topic I felt reasonably comfortable with.
Since you probably usually enjoy my writing (or you wouldn’t be reading this
), I thought I’d point you to the guest posts I wrote for other blogs. Without further ado…
- Keeping your readers’ attention – why less is more – Simply Stephen asked me to write about simplicity. So I did – a short focused post where I tell the story of a great but oblivious musician that made me realize why less is often more.
- How giving makes you richer – Anja asked me why giving makes you richer (since economically it doesn’t make much sense). In this post I explain the funny psychological effects through which giving makes you materially (not just emotionally) richer! [note: the intro is in Swedish]
- Why parrots talk so much – If you’re expecting a crazy metaphor for life… you won’t find it here. This post is exactly about what the title says. Glavkos asked me to write about why parrots talk so much, so I delivered! [note: intro in Greek]
- How to Maintain Friendships – Karoly asked me to write about how to maintain friendships when your life circumstances change drastically (changing jobs, etc.). So I explain the 2 types of friendships and why it’s sometimes ok to let go of old friends.
- How to make learning fun – David originally asked me about “cool tricks for effective learning”. While I like cool tricks, I prefer to build them on top of a solid foundation – and I explain why fun is the key ingredient in my philosophy of learning! (with plenty of specific tips)
There, this should more than make up for my sporadic posting here lately
In other news, I finished life coaching most of the clients I took on during my last free life coaching offer. (When I say most, I mean 2 out of 3
). I’ll be running one more offer of free life coaching in a few days, to give myself some extra time to set up all the legalities of coaching as a business (and get a bit more experience and testimonials
). So stay tuned if you’re interested! After that, I’ll turn professional sometime around March/April, so this will probably the last free coaching offer I’m doing in a while.
That’s all for now. Have fun!
