Your lessons from 2009

Today, we’re going to learn from the past :)

This is a short post, with a few simple questions. But questions have enormous power, because they direct your focus. (See Ask the Right Questions). So let’s ask some questions that will direct your mind to learn useful lessons from the past year.

Take a few moments to really think about each question.

  1. Who are you grateful to have known in 2009?
  2. Who are you grateful to have met?
  3. Did you let them know that?
  4. What awesome things have you experienced for the first time?
  5. What have you accomplished?
  6. What difficulties have you overcome?
  7. How?
  8. How was 2009 completely different from what you expected in January?
  9. What important lessons have you learned?

And that’s all. Remember, YOU direct your thoughts based on what questions YOU ask yourself. Use the power wisely.
