Details of the affiliate program

If you’re not familiar with the term, becoming an affiliate means that you help sell somebody else’s product and get a cut of the price, without having to do any of the hard work of market research and developing a product.

I offer a straight 50% cut on any sale you make. So for each $17 e-book, you get $8.50 and I get $8.50. (Well, technically, I get a bit less because of processing fees, but let’s not worry about that.).

Here’s where it gets really exciting.

I use e-junkie for the affiliate stuff. They use something called a Hop-link. Which means that when someone clicks through your affiliate link, e-junkie sets a cookie in their browser that’s valid for 6 months. And whether they buyer buys immediately, or takes several days, weeks, or even months to make up their mind, as long as they originally got to the sales page through your affiliate link, you get your 50% cut of the price!

This also means you don’t need to worry about doing any heavy selling on your side. You can just give people a simple link to my sales page (where I do the job of explaining exactly what the product is about), and get your affiliate share because of the Hop-link system.

Of course, your readers trust you, so many of them will go a long way towards deciding to buy simply because you say the book is the real deal. In the end it all comes down to content, which is why I’ve put so many months of effort into making sure the book kicks as much ass as possible!

How you can join the affiliate system

As I’ve said before, the affiliate system runs through e-junkie, which is a simple no-nonsense affiliate management system.

If you already have an account there, simply click this link to sign up for my affiliate program.

If you don’t have an account, you will have to create one (just click the link above). Also, you need a PayPal account to receive the affiliate earnings.

The signup is free. No startup fee, no hassle.

Then, once you have an account and click the above link, you will have joined my affiliate program. After that, to get a link to promote Unleash Your Confidence… (These step-by-step instructions might sound like they’re insulting your intelligence. You can definitely figure it out yourself, I’m just providing the step-by-step instructions to make everything as smooth as possible for you.):

  1. Click on the Affiliates tab on the top, and underneath click on Affiliate admin.
  2. Click on Get Affiliate Code.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Vlad Dolezal and then click on the Get Affiliate code button.
  4. Do NOT copy the code on top (this would give you a generic hop-link that leads to my Products page, rather than a specific one for the UYC sales page). Instead, on this page, you should see a subheading that says Get Product Specific Affiliate Links. Select Unleash Your Confidence from the drop-down menu. Click Get Affiliate Code. (funny how many times you have to click a link that says the exact same thing, eh?)
  5. You will now see a html link code. If you’re familiar with html, you know what to do. Otherwise, copy the the part between the first set of quotation marks and use that as the link you send people to.
  6. Profit!

As I’ve already explained, this link will lead people to the sales page for Unleash Your Confidence and set a cookie in their browser so that if they buy any time within the next 6 months, you will get your affiliate cut.

I send out the affiliate earnings around the middle of each month, for the sales you made the previous month. So, for example, for all the sales you made in March, you will receive your commission around mid-April.

How to earn a lot of money

Since we’re both on the same side here (we want to sell plenty of copies of Unleash Your Confidence), here are some ideas that will help you maximize the number of copies you sell:
